Hi, Kindly help. Creating a monolithic stairdoes not correctly shows in plan, there is an extra riser in the target level. althoug in model it seems correct, in plan, the Extra Last line means another riser which means extra riser if read in plan view. Even the section does not show it correctly, I hace to ovelap the floor to show the end line connecting the last riser and the end for the landing. Also some difficulty in the railing. (tight spaces.) Thanks.

hi, stairs and railing can be tricky. problem is for some the extra line you talk about is the correct way to show the top riser meeting the landing, but if you don't want it use the line tool and set it to invisible. for your railings use the railling setting, their are join conditions in there that should solve your problem. stairs are complicated to get right. what i suggest for people is to save all thier stairs once they have them the way they want. I have a file with about 100 different combinations of stairs conditions and railings then my staff can just go and pick the one that they need. and use it as a template to create a similar one. It does take time to build up a good libary but it is well worth it.

tHANKS King revit, It is correct in revit model. What Im speaking of is the drafting convention, technically, an extra line seen in plan means another riser. If I dont use monolithic stair, rather the other stair type, I could just simply end with riser and "correctly" show it in plan
