I attached the files I'm working with. I'm trying to get a sweep in the shape of the solid sweep you will find in the family. When I set the path to follow the octoganal shape of the cupola, the sweep gives me a problem. I wouldn't mind the solid sweep, but it has to be in the shape of the octogan. The picture of the 1950's drawings I'm working from are in the cupola family file so you can see what it's supposed to look like. I know that a sweep likes to have it's reference plane at the same level as the bottom of the sweep. But even trying to use this trick does not make it work. Suggestions please! PS. When I'm done, I totally wanna upload this puppy into the RevitCity library, so please let me know if there are other suggestions or improvements I could make so it's a bit more dynamic.
