I must be missing something... When I place an elevation marker...I want it to show up in one view...not a series of elevations, section... Tired of going through all these views and using hiding annotation option.... do I have to make my own family? If so how?

I really want this to work...some good things some bad |

When you place these, they are levels! ... not elevation markers. That's why they show up everwhere. If you want an elevation marker, you can find taht under drafting, symbols if you have one loaded in your project.

trayrider, he is talking about elevations in the height sense...like "TOP OF MORTAR JOINT | 4512'-1" A.F.F. He's trying to avoid generating five "SILL HEIGHT" levels for his five wall sections that show up in the whole project...things like that. He's just having trouble find the height-marker-elevation-thing-symbol. HTHYHH. (hope that helps you help him)
