Can anyone help on this please. I have a plot of land that is shaped liked a letter U. When I try and do topography it colours all the area in including the bit in the middle. I only want the actual boundary and not the bit in the middle. Any thoughts anyone. regards Mark

MARK- YOU COULD ALLOW IT TO CREATE THE PART I THE MIDDLE AT FIRST, AND THEN DO A SPLIT OF THE TOPOSURFACE. wHEN YOU CLICK ON THE SPLIT (UNDER THE SITE BAR) YOU WILL HAVE TO SELECT THE TOP SURFACE THAT YOU WANT TO SPLIT. ONCE YOU SELECT YOUR TOPOSURFACE IT WILL ENTER SKETCH MODE AND YOU CAN DRAW THE PART OF THE SURFACE YOU WANT TO BE EMPTY. WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR SKETCH FINISHED HIT COMPLETE AND NOW THAT PORTION IS SEPERATED FROM THE ORIGINAL AND YOU CAN DELETE IT. HARLEY
