In Revit 2008 you could amend a stucco colour for example for render purposes in the material library and save it to a libray by right clicking on the icon and using it as a template. In 2009 it appears that you cannot use the function. I am looking to create different colour shades of stucco for a project, do I have to use the 16 or so standard colours in the library of do I have the ability to create my own? The same applies to standard colours etc... It appears the the new rendering software uses a FBX file - any ideas where you can obtain additional libraries?

Hey, you can easily create your own. Go to settings-->materials and duplicate any material you want. I usually click the replace button and make it a generic material. You can specifiy the RGB properties of a colour, or use the pantone library. As for the FBX file, I dont know what they are.
