a basic question

Just reading through our office cad standards and there is a line stating that every1 should be using romans.shx as the font of choice in Autocad as it is the most economical in terms of disk space and regeneration times of other fonts.

Is this the case within Revit???

yes, my post got the reply it deserved as I wasn’t implying that I wanted to bring the Autocad Roman font.

I just wanted to know if any1 had done tests of file size etc with different fonts.

I think this used to be the case with AutoCAD but the memory usage for non shx fonts hardly makes any difference to a drawing now - no reason to use shx fonts even in AutoCAD.  There is a RomanS font in Revit but we have found it does not work that well and use Arial.
