Hi all I have a strip foundation that I added to my drawing. The foundation is supporting a cavity wal, I have added a foundation -> wall. Now, at certain positions along a length of wall I have a wider foundation due to increased loads. The only way to get bigger foundations in these position to my knowledge is to use different walls? OR Just draft it on? Any thoughts?

This is how I would go about it. 1. Set up a new footing type for the wider footing. I assume you want, for examples, a continuous 2'-0" wide X 1'-0" to transition to a 3'-0" wide X 1'-0" continuous footing. If you are talking about changing depth of the footing from 1'-0" to 1'-6" then we are talking about different things. 2. Use a reference plane parallel to the wall where the wider footing will start and end 3. Split wall at reference plane. 4. Add foundation -> Wall 5. Select your new footing type 6. Click section of wall. 7. Erase your reference planes! Does that make sense?
