In none of my sections do i have the datum levels. I dont know how to turn them on. I need to lower one of the floors and cant since i cant seem to figure out a way to change the elevation without the datums. I can see the levels in the 3D when i click on the plane button. Help

There are so many reasons. Clipping, section box, visibility graphics, propagate extent, 2d/3d control, etc. Can you elaborate or show a screenshot?

I looked at what you mentioned. I thought it all looked good. What would you like a screen shot of? More then happy to send one, need to get those one there.

Would sharing coordinates have anything to do with it? I have had to relocate this model thanks to the architect

When you relocated the model, did you use Project Position/Orientation under Tools pulldown menu or you just move the model to a new location with the move command? The Datum/Level has a green circle at its end, this is the extend, can you still see it on any elevation? you can drag the circle to go beyond the model boundary.

I did use the project position under the tools menu. It was more like rotating the model 30 degrees. I cant see anything in the elevations, no level line, no bubbles just nothing. Attached is screen shots of one of my elevations and a 3D view with the secion box and one of the level planes turned on.

How can i tell if my level is within the cut of the sections? How do you turn on the extents of the levels so you can see them? EG find the exactly where my 1 floor plane is

I tried to recreate your problem...and then fix it. This may not be the same problem you are experiencing. To fix the views parallel to your South Elevation (cuts running East to West) 1. Go to your South Elevation 2. Drag your datums so that they intersect (or create an apparent intersection) at everythig you've modelled 3. This should take care of that. To fix the views perpendicular to your South Elevation (cuts running from North to South) 1. Create a new elevation view looking either East or West (you can just copy the original South Elevation and check one of the East/West boxes to create a new one). 2. Go to your newly created elevation. 3. Drag your datums so that they intersect (or create an apparent intersection) at everythig you've modelled 4. That should work...but let me know if this doesn't make work/make sense and I'll take the trouble of taking screen shots.
