Does anyone know how to attach columns to the roof?
I would like them to behave similar to the walls that can be attached and move with roof.

The best way I know is to create a column family and simply add a height dimension as an instance parameter and change the height of the column as required in elevations. Try the one in the attached file. You can adjust width, depth & height as instance parameters.
HTH (if the file attaches properly!)
