I am having a problem with making the balasters of a railing understand where to meet the top floor of a staircase. As you can see in the attached images, they seem to float one riser's length above the floor where the stairs terminate. The stringer looks a little funky too. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what your code is so: If the flat section of railing is too high off the floor, then you have run the sloped portion of your railing too far. Just edit the railing and pull back that portion. (Your railing model as shown consists of 4 lines. - the bottom sloped section, the transverse section, the upper sloped section and finally the flat section) If the flat section is the right heigt but should go to the floor, you need to modify your railing or you may have to have a railing for the stairs and a different one for the flat area.
