Hi All

I got this pop -up recently and I have 4 gig Ram on my system and can't seem to understand why it would tell me I am out of memory! I didn't have too many windows open and was only running outlook in the background

Any reasons why this could happen?

I think it's your virtual memory and not your physical RAM that ran out.

Here's some helpful links:

Depending on how your system is set up, the longer you run REVIT and perform operations, the more memory you use.  Even though you close a window, not all of the memory that was used is released.  If you are doing major revisions or spinning 3D models, this becomes very important.  That is why you will find the recommendation on this site and AUGI to close REVIT completely at least once a day.

I have heard some peomple say that if you minimize REVIT and then bring it full screen again, you will gain a similar release of memory but I can not verify that.
