Hello Everybody! I was just wondering if any of you have done a conctete curb and gutter for a parking lot that has a slope to it. I am trying to create a curb and gutter that follows the driveway slope on my proyect and I can not get it to work. I tried to rotate it but it only allows me to rotate one side and the other side gives me a warning such as:" can not rotate to that position" or something like that. has anyone done it before? is it possible? could you help me to know how to do it if it's posible? thanks Sagir

Hi, the gutter is a family that entered in the Site plan or was created in place? Can you put some images to figure it out?

Thanks A buch for your willingness to help. it was created in place and of course it shows it all flat at the same elevation... I do not know if you can see clearly on the image but my parking lot is 2' above the grade level and I am trying to make the curb and gutter follow the driveway slope. thanks

Hi SAGIR, the image isn't clear, you must ZOOM to the place where are your Gutter to i can see, if it was a Family there is one parameter which control the "Vertical" to follow the site... ZOOM the image to the place...

What version are you working in? If you're in 2009, you're in luck, you can use a sloped slab or a sloped floor or create an in place family and do a blended sweep. If you're not in 2009, you're gonna have to fake it. Try creating some in place families using sweeps that follow your site slope. Hope that gets you started.

Hi SAGIR, Kesflower is right, with slab you can draw this because you can control the elevation points and break lines OR you can create-in-place a mass element and VOID what don't you want, don't use walls because in CURVE (round) you can't control the shape in the TOP or BOTTOM...
