I have a family file that originally had a heap of families loaded into the file. Once I complete the fixture I then purge the file to reduce size etc... Now, when I need to re load a family component into the file that already exists (well, one version exists as the purge removed the rest) it wont fully load the component file. Has any1 else had the same issue??

Is there away around this glitch???

I'm not sure what you mean by

"it won't fully load the component file" what is it doing?

Are you talking about the type parameters not being updated?  Make sure when loading the family you have "override parameters" ticked when prompted.

Thanks for the reply Mr Spot

What I am doing is creating a heap of retail fixtures using components - nested families.

After I finish the fixture I then purge the file to reduce size.

If I need to go back to that fixture to make changes ie. load family that already is in the file as I need a different type component.  None of the multiple type components load.  What I have to do currently is delete the component completely then perform a purge.  Then reload the component which then brings in all associated types/options of that component.

I hope this make sense.
