Is there a font type setting for imported autocad files? It appears that Revit is defaulting to Arial on the linked details and I would like to use our office standard (Eras Medium). I would like to link the files and have them come in as Eras. What is the best way to set this? Thanks

Is Eras Medium available to you in REVIT? REVIT does not use any SHX files.

Eras Medium is available. We have been using it for quite some time now. However, I am looking for a way to tell Revit to substitute the autocad fonts with Eras (or any given Revit font) upon importing. Currently it deaults to Arial I believe. Can this be switched?

search for the "shxfontmap.txt" file in your revit\suport folder i believe. you can easily add shx file names and there TTF replacement. just be careful and follow the syntax of the file.
