My prolem is that I have two landing before the next floor is reached.  My Revit Arch. 2008 has been sending one or more or the railing at a extremely steep angle.  Everything else seems to be correct but the railings don't like the fact that I have two landings between floors.  Can anyone shed some light on why this is or a way around it to get my stairs to work properly, I'm running out of hair to pull out.

Railing sketches should be made up of multiple lines.  The line sections over the stairs are the sloping portion and are set to slope.  The portion over the landing is set to flat.  Somehow, you modified your sketch and have one railing form start to end.  Edit th sketch and break the line into three segments then see what happens.

You will need to learn how far past the last riser you will need the joint to be in order to have your railing all at the same height.  For that ... you need to play with it and learn.

Alright, thanks I'll try that.  Our tech guy here thinks I need to create one of the landings as a seperate floor, but that would take time I don't really have to spare.  I'll try your idea.  Thanks for the help.
