How do I group headers in a door schedule under another header? (Ex. I want to have "Finish", "Type", & "Material" all fall under the header: "DOOR", but to remain headers themselves.) Revit 2008

In your schedule, select the headers you wish to group. Now look at the status bar, there is an option for "Group". HTH.

Yeah, I got it...Thanks! I didn't realize you could simply click and drag to select multiple headings.

Hi Guys! I realize this thread is ancient but I'm having issues with grouped cell headers and I cannot figure it out for the life of me. I joined several headers in my schedule and now they have split again. I can no longer join them, and I can't delete them.
Please let me know if this is a bug or if there's any solution.
Thanks!

Please see attached pdf file. I'm working on Revit 2013.
Try followings:
1. Go to Schedule View.
2. Select the cells you want to have the group header, my case was select "HEAD", "JAMB" and "SILL", then right click, in pop-up window select "Group Headers".
3. A new empty grouped cell will be shown on top of those three cells.
4. You can type any word in there, I typed "DETAILS".
5. Then turn to sheet view, my case is A-101, you can drag them to set up the height and width as you like.

That seems to be a promising idea, what are guides and materials aside from the door? And will it work for the custom made ordinary door? Do you have a link for those resources you have?
