Hi all,

Does anyone know a way to combine wall sweep and reveal?  Meaning, a profile which projects out and cut into the wall at the same time?  Please advise. Thanks!  I'm using Revit Architecture 2009.

I'm not sure what you mean? can you post a screenshot? You can do a wall with built-in sweep and reveal, under its properties. You can also add them manually by Host sweep, Wall reveal or wall sweep.

For Wall sweeps there is also an option for "Cut wall" too.

Thank you for your replies.  I guess there isn't a way to combine the two into one profile.

The two pictures show what I was trying to do:"Sweep-highlighted.gif" shows the sweep highlighted, you can see there's a 2" thickness which I wanted to cut inside the wall."Sweep1.jpg"  shows the sweep applied to the wall, but the wall was not cut.

Thanks again!

I see what you mean. The attached image has a top wall sweep and the recess is a wall reveal.
