I have been experiencing two problems: 1. I imported hatch from cad works fine in release 08 but in 2009 the hatch pattern wont print 2. I created some electrical components (douplex outlet, data, tel,….etc) in the past they worked fine,I just started working on a new project and I drop the components in plan and they become invisible.they are selectable but they are not visible in plan.how ever I went to the roof and I can see them there how can I fix this.

Hi, about "Hatchs" i don't know, i think they change something about this, try: http://www.revitup.co.za/main/page_home_home.html http://www.revitzone.com/ About the "Electric components, you must edit the family and check the "Visibility options in plan"

For the components - This sounds like a visibility issue.... something is different. Are you sure they are within the view range? Change their elevation and see what happens. Other things to check include is the category hidden? Are they in another workset that is not on?

I HAVE TRIED TO CHECK THOSE THINGS U MENTIONED. I CHECKED MY ELEVATIONS AND THE COMPONENTS APPEAR CORRECTLY. I NOTICED MY ELEVATION MARKERS ARE NOW SHOWING ON MY FLOOR AND ROOF? WHAT GIVES?

These are visibility issues. Check your view range in the plans..... set it as high as you can - turn on everything in VG in both model elements and annotations. When I said check your elevation, I meant to check the elevation the element was inserted at. Make sure it is not covered by another item like a counter.
