Please see the attached image and tag family Due to the orintation of the title sheet, I want to rotate the highlighted tag 180 degrees (upside down) which means when it is printed it would look the right way up. Unfortunetly when ever I try and do this, either in the drawing sheet, the view or the family its self it simply does not rotate. Its remains the wrong way up. I think Revit is trying to keep the text orintated to the project north or something like that, but its an assistance to far in this case. Has anybody ever experienced this and do this know how to disable it or work around it? Thank you as always for any assistance.

Edit your tag family and uncheck the keep readable box in the properties for the appropriate label.

Hi thank you for your help. I did what you said and found the parameter you are talking about but it made no difference. I am still unable to rotate the tags. I also tried going into Family Category and Parameters and disabled "Rotate with component" however all that does is make all the text horizontal on the sheet and I still can't rotate it regardless of the "Make readable" parameter been set on the tag or not. Is it because its a framing tag?

Try making your own tag and having a bash at that Rob. My bloody PC is down at work otherwise I would have a bash. Let me know how you got on!

Sorry, I've not had to do this and I thought this would be the solution. You may have a couple of oiptions. 1 - create a new tag with the text rotated in the tag. (I doubt this will do what you want. 2 - Not sure how your sheet is set up but can you rotate the sheet so that the view is correct?

@ Martin - thank you but I am already using my own tag. I'm not sure of any parameters that I can use to solve the problem. @ WWHub - If I rotate the sheet unfortunetly some to the text will remain orintated incorrectly. Please see attached screen cap. Thank you.

Clark I thought you would be able to place the label 2 times and then control it with a visability parameter. I turned off the keep readable but to no avail. Both labels come in in the same direction. All that to say I cant find a fix. Just out of curiostiy though why is the framing following so many different grids? Nick

Hi Nick Appreciate you trying. Its a real problem this one. The structure I am drawing in a 8 building academy and various parts within those buildings are angled of from one another, therefore we need to use a grid as well have.
