HI,

I would like to know if we can  create  doors in the curtain wall

 Revit 2008

I think today i just respond to this question but Yes, you can, just pick in panel you want to be a door, go to properties, edit, duplicate with another name (to preserve the others), "load", go to folder where you have "Curtain Wall Panels", select what do you want and done... i think it's all...

I have tried but did not succeed

This is a FAQ.  Check out my blog for my answers to similar type questions.  But you must first load a curtain wall door (they are special types of doors and are do not come in under the door option)  tab select the curtain panel,  Now hit the type selector drop down and you will see your curtain wall door in this list.  Simply select it and thats it.

 

Alternatively, you can tab select the panel, then go to the type selector and select a " basic wall" type.  Now you can place a standard door in this wall like normal...
