Hello, Is there a way how to create a door or window schedule not only in tabular or spreadsheet type but with the "Elevation" of the door or window being shown also. the attached image is how likely it will appear.

Use a legend to create the door elevations. The problem with REVIT schedules is that the data can not be in rows, the family is in rows and the properties are in columns. If you can orient your schedule the other way and live with that, then you can get close to what you want.

Such issue regarding the column or row placement of the Families is one thing that can be lived with. The point is that I have to manually place the legend in the sheet together with the door or window schedule. manually placing it defeats the purpose, that somewhere along the road, I might miss a certain component.

If you have a wish item, I believe you can place that on the AUGI site. We can't change REVIT, only can give advice. You should not miss anything if you visually check your sheet and sort your doors by family type.

I'm having a similar issue. I've seen this feature in ArchiCAD where the schedule can contain the elevation of the door/window we're scheduling, which is a really neat and easy to use feature. (why is this not possible in Revit???) I was wondering if this could be somewhat resolved by creating a separate elevation view of a wall containing all doors and windows (not to be included in the door & window schedules). This probably isn't the greatest solution, but if somebody has another suggestion, please let me know. Thanks!

ALso using the legend component of a door , you can setup a referenced section to a eg head detail on TOP - OVER the legend component on the sheet. The referenced section lies on top of the legend referencing to the appropriate sheet where lies the eg Head Detail. Yeah dont think the legend components tag though , seems have to manually Name.
