Revit 2008, I am trying to draw a reference plane in a family for the purpose of a sweep. But the RP needs to be at an angle to the x grid and at an angle to the z grid. Any suggestions????

try placing in one view and then , change to other view , select previous , and rotate

but if its to make a sweep you will might want to to this with a line

Hi, use "Reference Lines" to do it, and use the Work plane of that Reference line to rotate in the axis you want...

Dafpfy, I opened your model and saw that is was done, when i went and drew reference lines in 3D view it was on a new work plane, but i wasn't able from any view to see where that work plane was drawn or understood how it was created. I still can not get a reference plane or line to rotate in any but one axis... any suggestions.

okay so i tried this one and the best solution looks like a rotating reference plane with a rotating reference line in it.  but its far from perfect.
