Hi all.

I am wondering....

While creating curtain walls and placing grid, is it possible to place a grid (and the a mullion) that is not vertical or horizontal? Like a mullion at 15 deg from the vertical?

Thanks for your help!

Math.

If you look at the properties of a curtain wall, both the horizontal and vertical curtains grids can be given an angle.  This parameter applies to the entire curtain wall though so it is all or nothing.  If you have a curtain wall with H&V grids and want to introduce another grid at an angle you have a couple of options:

1.  Create a custom curtain panel that has the mullion as a solid extrusion built-in and swap the panel out for this new panel.

2.  Select the curtain panel in question (hint:hover near edge of panel and hit tab key until you see panel highlight then

left click mouse to select)  Once selected change the panel out for another curtain wall (use type selector).  In this curtain wall within

a curtain wall add a curtain grid.  Change the properties of the curtain wall embedded to have the angle you desire.

Yes, not possible, yet. I suggest, use edit profile option of wall to make inclined diagonal mullions.

Can you offer any more on this solution? I select the panel as described but I am unable to change it out to another curtain wall. I only have options to change the panel type. Please advise.
