first of all, would like to say this is THE best revit site out! now on with the question, i have been trying to export a walk thought of a campus we have modeled. its not too large, but it is raytraced @ 1000 frames & about 15 fps, @ 640x480 - full frame *uncompressed* and of course it takes quite a while to creat. i am using a 3ghz quad core 4 gigs of mem, 512MB grafics card. so the system should be suficinet. i start the expost towards the end of the day and let it run @ night, the past two nights it has gotten to about the 350 frame mark +/- and get a message saying it has been stopped by the user. i know no one is there is canel it, so i thought it could be a network service issue, so i coppied all the files locally and set the path to say the avi to my C: and tried it again with the same message. i have no problem with still photos and smaller avi files. the current project is the largest in scope and avi size we have tried... -thanks for anything you can help with, George

I'm not sure why this is happening, but if I create large walkthroughs, I always break them down into smaller sections and then piece them together - lots of free software you can download to do this. Render out your walkthrough from from frame 1 to say a 1/2 of the full length, then again for each section. Just a thought.... Justin www.revitup.co.za
