Greetings, This might sound awkward but. My supervisor has requested me to set up a set of drawings differently that what I have done before and I don't even know if this is possible in Revit but hopefully someone has. He would like to set up our keyed notes as a pseudo multi-discipline system, were I would have three to four different keyed note symbols and each one would designate a trade / discipline on what is happening for them in that area. So let say A square symbol for electrical, circle for plumbing, and a triangle for Fire Protection. I know this might sound weird but it makes sense when you look at this project as a whole. I know I would have to create a separate keynote file, and that is just one part of the issue, I dont' actually know the format of that file, doese anyone know where I could find that reasource so I could create my own? Then how would revit work or not work with the multiple keynote symbols per sheet.? Thanks, Michael

Check out your help on key notes. That will tell you what you need to set up your file. Sorry - but you will not be able to have seperatesymbols and keynote files.
