Greetings all, Im using Revit Architecture 2008 (will be installing 2009 here within a week or so) I had a crazy issues that reared its ugly head in a crunch time (like that never happens <GRIN> , and I was wondering if anyone has come accross this and what solution you arrived at getting around it? I got it out but it was not pritty. First off the basic project information is an Office T.I. approximatly 64,000 sq. ft. It has a main open cubical area in the center with a 2x2 acoustical ceiling at 11'-9" a.f.f., Training classrooms surround the main area and also have 2x2 accoustical ceilings at 11'-8", but are on there own grids. The model went in no problems but this is were it gets wierd and crazy. Issue 1: When I demo'd the grid the grid didn't display as dashed lines, which I suspect that this is because of the model hatch pattern. I actually used a filter trick to turn off the demo'd ceiling and made line work to represent this (yes I know not the best idea but it worked for now) Issue 2: Before I turned off the demo'd grid I had started to plug in the new light fixture locations in the revised ceiling plan. The fixtures where actually cutting the existing grid even though they were in a phase in the future. They didnt show the fixtures but it was defenatly cutting holes into the grid? This I still have not found a work around? Sorry for the long post, but It's a weird issue to me. Michael Flure

Hi, mflure, I am a newbie here, didn't work much on "phase" yet. My thought is to use design options, which completely turn on/ off the geometry when you are switching between two options. So you won't have a collision between two options, like your lgiht fixture... Anyone?
