Hello, I would much appreciate some light anyone might be able to shed on this issue. I using RAC 2008. I have imported a .rfa lean-to frame into my project which displays fully in 3d and in elevation. I cannot get the horizontal portion to display regardless of my cut plane and view range. Any suggestions? Thanks for considering JBrent

Check your section box, Far Clip and Far Clip Distance? I can't seem to open your files. Can you attach screenshots, instead?

In the .rfa file, select the model's sweep in plan view (ref level) and then click on the visibility button. Currently plan view is unselected, which is why it is not showing in your plan views. Many families are like this, so it pays to check the visibility if it does not display as expected.

Deboddy, Thanks for the education. As you know your instructions were dead on, easy to follow, and gave me one more bit of understanding of families. Thank you JBrent
