I just started working for a design/build company who currently uses AutoDesk Architectural Desktop (ADT) and Master Builder software for construction documents and construction cost estimating respectively. The ADT drawings are mostly 2D and are not linked to the Master Builder Software which currently requires human translation for cost estimating.  This intermediate human step takes time, cost money and has potential for errors and ommisions.

I will be the first to impliment Revit Architecture (BIM) to this ADT-based office and hope to establish a bridge between the existing gap by setting up a direct link between my Revit models and the Master Builder estimating software.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for acheiving this goal?

Cheers!
