Anyone know how or what to do or where to go to get a family or detail component for welded wire fabric?? How have you been putting in Welded Wire Fabric in your details besides drawing with detail lines if thats the way you have been using as I have??

Thanks,

Why would you model this?  We just use linework .

so i dont have to draw the lines, i.e.   -x-x-x-x-x-  instead of drwing each line and x individually draw a line and have it show up like this as you would if using cad or ADT when you select welded wire fabic from detail component in cad or ADT you click size of fabric you want and draw a line it drawis WWF in the way it is supposed to just by drawing a line.

I do not remember who wrote this tutorial so I apologize to them for not giving due credit.

Attached is a process for creating a "linetype" (not really) similar to what we did in CAD that will give you a line with X's in it ....---------X---------X----------X

Here's a detail component I made for this situation.  I usually use it as the base for a repating detail.  See if it helps you out.
