I am trying to create atappered slab with the top side staying level and the soffit tappered. So far I have tapered the slab by using the modify sub-elements command but this willonly allow me to taper the top edge.I even tried to mirror the slab and revit resets the taper dimensions and keeps the top edge as themodifiable element.Does anyone have any idea how I change the slab settings so I can taper the underside and leave the top flat.(creating a slab with negative properties isn't allowed)Cheers Phill.

Why don't you do your slab in place with voids and or solids? REVIT's just not setup yet for something as special as this.

Yeah, create in place it's (in this case) the quickly way to do this, don't waste more time...

Another quicker and easier way to do this was.Create a slope slab for the taper at the bottom and then a flat slab above and join the 2 elements. So simple yet so effective.

Create a Profile with a tapered shape and attached it to the edge of the roof like a fascia. Then use join geometry to get rid of lines at the joint.
