I created a line-based "base cabinet" model.  ( the gable and doors repeats)  It works fine on Ground and Third floor, but it doesn't work on Second Floor.  I really cannot figure out why.  Does anyone has a clue?

I changed the model graphics style from wireframe to hidden line.  Then the line-based model works.

If anyone has a clue to the reasoning behind this, i would like to know.  Thanx.

When you place most elements they generally default to face workplane placement.  In wireframe there is no faces so it can't place the element.  Had you have switched to workplane placement it would have placed the element.

Mr Spot

I am having trouble again with the line-based family.

Is there anyway to stop Revit from rounding up integers?  My "no of gables = (Length/spacing)+1", as the number rounds to the closest integer, sometimes i have an extra gable.

thanks
