i am new to the program but have had good success. but i cannot figure out how to create window shutters. i also cannot find any. i need these ASAP. anyone?

If you have access to the 2009 online content library you can find it at this location: Revit Architecture 2009 Library/US Library/Families/Misc. Architectural. If you don't have 2009 I think you're out of luck... can't remember if they had it then or not, but I'd check in the same location.

great. now that i have found a pretty paltry shutter, i need to ammend it. i am actually using the shutter as an operable sun shading device. i do not want it green. when i go under materials i cannot change it. i need to set a parameter. i am only a few days into this program and have figured a lot out but not this. guidance? i want dark wood shutters. how can i do this.

 i also need to add more louvers to it and i cant quite figue this out other than creating a family within a family.

Hi, you can try to pick in that shutters and go to properties and see if it have the material component to can change, otherwise pick in shutters and edit family, in there you can see how it's created, the materials name and you can change in there...
