In the rendering dialog there is a pulldown for the QUALITY, set that to edit and in the RENDER QUALITY SETTINGS dialog check the boxes for the daylight portals you want Revit to read. You have three choices to pick: doors, windows and curtain walls. Just check those and Revit will do the rest. HTH

I should also mention that there is a pulldown on the top of the render quality dialog that you will need to set to custom to allow you to change the settings.
