Hello, I am a Revit Structure Newbie in the Vancovuer BC Area. I have been Given as a first project a Square Tilt-up Building. As some of you are aware Tilt-up Construction consist of Concrete Panels casted flat on a slab and tilted up into place. I am trying to represent Each Panel as a single Entity. I created a new type of wall, and I drew the outline of the building with it. then I tryed to Split the wall where Panel Joint are supposed to happen. a Panel Joint is only 3/4" wide. I used the split tool to try to achive a 3/4" gap, but the wall kept on joining itself back again and again. Can anyone tell me if there is a setting I need to change for this not to happen? or if you know another wy to achive this? I tried doing a full height opening as well but the wall remain as one entity instead of several panels. Thank you kindly in advance. Vanrevit

to keep the wall from joining, select the wall - right click over the blue dot at the end of the wall and select Disallow join
