Hi, Is it possible to export sheets to dwg and have the 2D modelspace drawing be located with the same coordinates as the Revit file? We have been trying to export all of our project sheets to dwg, so that our consultants can xref our drawings into theirs and have them fall into place. We have specified the N/E coordinates in our Revit file, although when we open an exported (sheet) dwg plan and go to modelspace, the UCS/coordinates are incorrect and seem to just be a result of a random placement of the viewport. We have tried selecting both Internal and Shared coordinates in the options, as well as printing to single and seperate files. Nothing seems to work?! TIA

This is a known and annoying limitation. When exporting from a sheet the shared co-ordinates are not exported. In order to get the correct co-ordinates you need to export from the view and not the sheet. HTH.

Exporting to DWG using shared co-ordinates only works from Views, not Sheets |
