I'm in Revit arch 08

I've modeled an mep bulkhead element as a railing, which worked well.  Now I'm having a hard time seeing it in Ceiling Plans.  I have all railings (everything actually) turned on in VG and the View Depth is up to the  Next Floor, the cut level is 4'6", below the bulkhead.

Any ideas?

Hi,

You need to adjust your View Range-Cut plane. Go to View Properties-View Range-Cut Plane-Offset.The Cut plane offset should be cutting the height of your rails. Some other objects, though might show that lie on the same level. If you don't want to do that and your bulkhead is not that many, you can mimic the bulkhead with a detail line, if it's not a pain.

 Thanks,

Mhans

I am having the same problem, but I'm afraid that solution didn't work for me.  Is there something in the railing family itself that blocks the view?  I am new to this but I don't see a way to edit Revit's Basic railing family...I want to check to see if it's turned off in certain views, etc.
