Just started using 2009.

When loading families- the file preview is no longer available, I have to open it save in revit 9 and only than it's available. Rang support, say said they didn't know...

also all the colours on the screen displayed much darker that in Revit 2008 - why that could be?

What version of Windows are you using?  I'm experiencing that same issue with Vista x64, I'm waiting for a response from the development team on a possible fix.

However they all show fine on Windows XP.

i'am using Windows 2000

also when i go to Element properties-Materials, the text is not displyed correctly (it'scropped at the bottom at each row of the text). Autodesk people suggested that colour variations and text displyed incorrectly could be a graphic card, but i'am usung the same system and card.

but my main concern really a preview issue

thanks

I'm surprised they didn't turn around and say we don't support windows 2000, as they don't.

The colours thing is weird, as it should all look the same.  Update your graphics card drivers to the latest if you haven't already.

As for the thumbnails unless the factory have some sort of registry hack that will fix it, I'm thinking the only solution is to open each family and resave the thumbnail or try deleting the thumbs.db file and force windows to recreate it.

It could be worse, you could have Vista x64 and not have thumbnails no matter what you do...
