We just upgraded to Revit 2009 and we can't customize our shortcuts in the "open" or "save as" menu anymore!  In 2008, we could at least add some (without going to Favorites first, which is what we have to do now).  How can we add direct shortcuts in 2009?

And on the same note, how can we remove the annoying "My Network Places" and "My Computer" shortcuts?

A million thanks... I know a lot of us are having this issue...

Smile,

eye

I don't think you can remove default items, but you should be able to just click and drag a folder into the shortcut are and it will keep it as a shortcut.

Thanks... now can I rename the shortcut?

Has anyone else been able to remove default shortcuts?

if its what I'm thinking, maybe wrong

you can customize your shortcuts under the settings menu / optons then click the tab " File Location" in there is a button that says places, click that and it takes you to a screen so you can add or delete shortcuts.

Hope this helps

Have a Great Day Smile
