I'm using Revit 2009. In drawing additions with a brick veneer, I would like to be able to shade/hatch the stud wall and still see the veneer. I can shade the wall in coarse, but it shades everything in the wall including the brick. It would be helpful to differentiate between new & existing walls. Can anyone offer a solutiotion?

Are you using phasing and phase filters? If so, your existing will automatically be grayed out. There are now phase graphic overides as well. Are you applying materials to your wall structure? If so, you can apply a shade or hatch to each material in the wall structure.
