Wondering is any one can help. In our office we are using 2008 and currently are documenting a $60M office development in RAC. We are mid way thru our DD stage but are having problems with the transfer of our BIM model INto the IES format. the main problem is the sunscreens outside the building. Theses where created as Generic families - but did not transfer to the IES model. I changed them to a Window Family but no success. Has anyone had similar problem or does anyone have a work around solution.

Are you using the direct link with IES <VE> or exporting to a gbXML or ODBC database? Generally the direct link works a little better than exporting the information out.

I am not sure with the add-on that IES has provided if there is a direct link inside RAC but i know there is in RME i would certainly try this if you can.
