my revit file is starting to get quite large, almost 125mbs at this point. i have already recieved the "memory low, revit may become unstable" message. i dont want the program to crash while im using it. im wondering if there is a way to distribute the file into smaller pieces and therefore make the program run faster. i guess this would be similar to auto cad's xref. where you can only access certain views with certain files, and then there is a ultimate "viewing" file where all the other files are combined. any help would be great, thanks to everybody in advance. please hurry, project due in a week.

May be this tip would be helpful to u or not, but what i do is just divide the model in various files i.e. if I design ground floor in 1 file than the 1st floor is designed in other file, but imp. is to work with grids which will help u to attach all the file together properly.
