I'm trying to get some generic renderings of my model. I am trying to make it look like a museum board model. I heard there is a way to override the materials in a view, but not actually change the materials throughout the entire model. Can anyone help me figure out how to accomplish this? Thanks

You can change the surface pattern of an element, but you can't change it's render material, unless you use paint face, but this changes the material in all views.
