Hello from MPLS!! my screen name is a tribute to my new favorite Chicago Cub, Kosuke Fukudome. I have been using Revit for 3-4 years now, off and on at the beginning but almost exclusively in the last year or so. I also have experience with Microstation and plenty of AutoSad. I am finally getting around to signing on here and look forward to the help, insight, and mentorship I might be able to gain or contribute. And of course, baseball is always on my mind Fukudome

The title caught my eye. I'm a Chicago native at school in Ohio. And you gotta love the Cubbies!! I've only been working with Revit over the last 5-6 months thru school. It's not pushed heavily, but not neccesarily discouraged easier. Revit City has been a great help. I'm hoping to become very fluent in Revit, as I'm sure it would enhance my marketability for a job later. And how about Fukudome's first outing? He put up most of the Cubs' offense that game!! Wow the Tigers are starting sooooo slow... will they ever get above .500? It seems like they go on a nice winning run but then immediatly after they get so cold and go on a 5 game losing streak... they need to get their act together.

HA! Wow didn't think the Marlins would have to best record in baseball but I guess it's still early.

see this is something i never fully understood, it might be that i live in australia, and that well when i went to america i did see a new york dodgers game... but it went for a really long time...like i mean REALLY you guys say football or "soccer" as you call it over there is boring but baseball is almost a dul version of what we call cricket over here, and i even find that boring... i no i must be coming off exstreamly negative right now, but really i was asking a question. whats the real draw to baseball? am i missing something about it? looks as though one guy throws and the other trys to hit it really hard, then run in a big circle...well...diamond

bigmickyd, The appeal of baseball is everything; the crack of the bat, watching a runner beat a throw, stolen bases... There is a lot to baseball once you get into it. I know it seems like a slow moving game but everything has a meaning. For example, If nobody is hitting the ball it probably means the pitcher is really good. Anyway, I guess what I'm triying to say is that it is okay not to like baseball but I find that when you take the entire experience together you start to realize that the game of baseball is very interesting. P.S. I have never watched a criket game. I am not sure how that game is even played. As for soccer I actually like to watch a good soccer game.

I've never really understood why americans aren't attracted to it. You have a great point people in america say that soccer is too boring but then say that baseball is americas past time. Like James said everything in baseball matters and thats what makes the game interesting... I think that most americans just don't understand soccer or want to give it the time of day because they don't understand it just as many don't understand baseball. I like both sports but I love playing them both even more.

I'd say that baseball is like chess, its really boring until you understand the really fine points of it. But I prefer soccer. Go twins.

I also prefer soccer... because the Tigers are doing so bad... and until they turn it around then I'll think about watching baseball again. haha
