I have 2 issues that I need help resolving; 1)  I have a bathtub sitting on top of a framed up deck; I can see it in both section and 3D views, but it will not appear in my plan view.  Any ideas?  2)  (See attachment) I need to create a ceiling with rafters that will allow the linen closet to remain where it is, and the size it is, while maintaining the minimum headroom clearance per the building codes.  I suppose I could do a ceiling with a slope arrow and add the rafter in as detail lines, but that sort of defeats the purpose of Revit doesn't it.  Anyway,  Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

Re - tub ... is plumbing on in the plan VG?  Is the tub a plumbing family?  Is the tub 3d or 2d and if 3d are the modeled elements set to show in plan?

Re ceiling - if this does not need to be 3d ... and I doubt it does, then why not just edit the profile of the floor at that point in section?
