It would be very useful to have sections that can be cranked - ie a section line that changes angle halfway through.

While I think of it - elevations that you can manipulate also such as curved and cranked as for production drawings you need flattened elevations that can be measured from.

what do you mean by "cranked"

you already can have your sections make 90 degree turns thru your building

I need sections lines to bend in the middle at varying angles, I've got 3 blocks in a row in a building but each one is at a slightly different angle to the next, if I cut a section through all 3 blocks only one of them is perpendicular to the section, the other two are skew and walls etc show up thicker as they are being cut through diagonally. Ideally my section line would be able to bend twice to remain perpendicular to the blocks....hope that makes sense!

I totally agree.  I wish you could have the section change angle partway through.  It is pretty annoying trying to line up seperate sections and elevations to make a fake continous one.
