Anybody have ever thought about a wall structure acting in railing principals? It would really ease my work if i could put a column in a wall structure as "baluster" is in railing system, and a wall sweep profile as "rail" in railing. I work on proposal of a fence wall surrounding a great complex, which i have circular walls and intersections of varrying angles. So once i figure out a railing system for wall, i would simply draw the outside line scketch and thats it!

I've used railings for fences. I never thought of it as a wall replacement. As long as you don't want to place doors or windows in your railing/wall you'll be fine.

You can do this with walls if you go into the wall edit structure mode and click the preview button, bottom left and choose section.  Profiles can now be inserted horizontally at any height and offset.  To insert vertical elements in normal mode insert a wall sweep and click the vertical button on the options bar.
