I am wonderin gif it is possible to make a curved stair way curve a full 90 degrees? I am trying to make curved stairs, but Revit makes either the top or the bottom of the stairs 90 degrees, not both.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make a 90 degree curved stair?

Thanks

Hi, you have two choises: 1º create boundary and riser just like the 1-image attatch or 2º with Run create a stair with arc then click the blue line change the angle to 90º and in the properties you must adjust the maximum riser height 2- image attatch. This is what you want?

one option would be to use the boundary option and draw your boundaries first and then add the risers

What I do for my curved stairs is use the boundry function.  I started out by doing a radial array of ref. planes to mark the risers.  Use the arc length function in the dimension command to check that your tread depths are code-compliant (the smaller your radius, the bigger the angle between risers you will need).  Draw your side boundries and then draw a riser on each ref. plane.

It looks like your run requirement is not long enough. We had to sit down and play with it for a while to get the stair to come out at a perfect 90. In the end it is easier to do what Maranelloby sugests by creating a series of ref planes for the risers and using a boundry.
