using revit 2008 I’m having problems and hope someone can help. I’m trying to do a sweep for a sunshade, I’m trying to import a profile that was originally done in CAD. The profile is of the sunshade’s fascia. When I load the profile I get the following error message “Profile type 'Fascia 2:Fascia 2' contains no loops.” And so I have to delete the type. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks.

Sounds like your profile is not a closed shape. Draw a line on the axis to connect the top and bottom and try again.
