Hey I'm new to the RevitCity forums. I don't know if this is the place to post requests for downloads, but could someone make a model of a ITG (in the groove) machine? I need one for a in-house arcade i am creating. Srry i know there is a ddr machine but placeing like three of those next to eachother isn't appealing. Yes i have played it once yes it kicked butt and yes i can do the hardest difficulty on 2 songs. thanks Recoil

Alright, here's the deal, pal. Video gaming arcade machine families in the downloads section are really few. Before, there was only a sit-down arcade machine and a DDR...that's it. Considering I am into an arcade project, it really sucks. But then, I was thankful because at least there was a something from which I could pattern my desired machines. With no one to turn to, what I did was make the initiative. Even though a beginner myself, I've done my part by creating 3 more machines which are kinda common in arcades namely the shooter, the basketball and the racing types. I thought it was a way of giving back to the revitcity community since I've downloaded a lot of families from this site. I also hoped that others would be interested and follow the deed but I realized that was not the case. Now, I think it's time you do the part! Just open the existing DDR family and try to tinker with it...maybe rotate some parts or change the materials and size, etc. And I hope you'll share it afterwards. Unfortunately, not everyone is generous enough to share their own families...but I'm still glad some are kind enough to share. You'll realize that you can't find everything at the downloads section. There are times you need something and there's none or no one's responding. Where do you run to? It's time you flex those fingers and release the creativity yourself! I am a self-learner and making my own families not only made me better in Revit, but also gave me a sense of accomplishment. At the end of the day, I learned a lot and am pleased at how good it was doing my own craft.

since your are new Revit, it might be a good ideal to have a company like this http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=10607 bulit a prototype family for you to get started. Which you could then reverse egineer to build additional familys. HTH
