Hello all,

I'm having an issue with some window tags in my project. As you can see from image 01, I've given all the windows in my project individual numbers. In image 02, the window that has been selected is shown as having the Mark "003" in the properties window. However, in the window has a different mark in the model. I'm having the same problem with all my windows. How do I make the mark on the schedule and the mark on the model match? Am using Revit 2008. Thanks!

Your window tag has to look at the same parameter as your schedule.  Change one or the other so they both look at the same data.

I must be missing something- how do I change the data at which my window tag is looking?

Your window tag is a family.  Edit that family and under it's type values you will find the parameters it uses.....

Read up on Parameters in your HELP.

Is their a way to auto update all windows in a project. My design has gone through several edsign cycles which has resulted in windows being copied, deleted and added. This has caused an irratic numbering sequence as it has remembered all the windows that have been deleted but not referenced in the window schedule.

So the windows numbers jump e.g. 1 , 2 , 3 , 21 , 54 , 67. 68 .69 etc but obviously I would like it to read 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 etc

So is this easily acheivable without having to manualy update each tag.

Any help or ideas would be helpful
